Society for Research in Higher Education has announced that they are opening a second round of their annual research awards for new research in higher education.
Up to four awards with £10 000 each will be awarded, under three main themes: Higher Education Policy, Higher Education and Society, and Higher Education Practice. It is possible both to apply is a individual and as a group. Please note that you have to be member of SRHE to be eligble for the award. If the applicant is a group, the proposer must be a member.
In addition, additional £5,000 awards will be dealt for innovative research, exploring new or emerging area of higher education.

In addition, the call for papers for SRHE Newer Researchers Conference on 11 December 2012, that takes place before the full conference. This year, the overarchig theme is “What is Higher Education For? Shared and contested ambitions“.
